What if historians didn’t know about the greatest secret of the American Revolution?
When a docent at Mt. Vernon is brutally executed by hired mercenaries searching for a mysterious book written by George Washington, a secretive government agency asks archeologist Nick Randall to investigate. Randall and his son John not only discover the book, but a relic tied to a conspiracy involving President Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Their discoveries lead to a startling revelation of how the United States won its independence.
But Randall and John aren’t the only ones searching. Former Spetsnaz agent turned mercenary, Vasily Aminov, wants the relic and is bent on using its power to destroy the governments of Western Civilization, killing millions of innocent people in the process. Randall and John must battle Aminov and prevent him from starting World War III as the fate of the free world hangs in the balance.

Five men in black fatigues, toting weapons, fanned out around the library. Three turned over bookcases and ripped paintings from the wall, while a fourth stood guard by the door. The final gunman stood next to a docent who was dressed in colonial garb and near tears.
“Please, I told you I don’t know where the book is. I’ve never even heard of it before!” The kneeling docent pleaded with the gunman, who towered over him.
The gunman struck the docent in the face with the butt of his weapon. “Did that help jog your memory?”
His teeth bloodied and his lip split open the docent spit out blood and rubbed his injured face. “You have to believe me. I don’t know what you’re talking about?”
